Sono perfetti da inzuppare nel latte al mattino oppure nello zabaione, e sono un ingrediente fondamentale per preparare uno dei dolci pi\u00f9 classici: il tiramis\u00f9.<br \/>\nAlcune fonti fanno risalire l&#8217;origine dei moderni biscotti a un dolce con lo stesso impasto, il g\u00e2teau (o biscuit) de Savoie, creato intorno alla met\u00e0 del XIV secolo dallo chef di Amedeo VI di Savoia, in onore della visita dell&#8217;imperatore Carlo IV di Lussemburgo.
