Un dolce locale legato alla tradizione contadina (Focaccia di uva fragola detta anche Americana), inserito nel Paniere dei prodotti tipici della Provincia di Torino (Piobesi Torinese, Carignano, Castagnole Piemonte, Lombriasco, Virle Piemonte ed Osasio): si tratta di una focaccia piatta, con glassatura o spolveratura esterna di zuccheri in granelli, ripiena di acini di uva fragola, che durante la cottura in forno rilascia il succo che in parte va a legarsi all\u2019impasto. Tradizionalmente veniva utilizzata pasta di pane, mentre oggi si impiega pasta dolce; abbiamo creato anche altre varianti, pere e cioccolato, pesche e amaretti, mela, prugna, fichi e noci. Questo tipico dolce \u00e8 prodotto ancora da alcune pasticcerie artigiane.
